Labor Doula Training Workshop, Vermont, USA

CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association) Labor Doula Workshop Presented by Polly (Paulina) Perez, R.N. and Crystal Sada, CCE, CD

Polly Perez and Crystal Sada are pleased to announce an educational opportunity that seeks to strengthen the bridge of understanding, respect, and cooperation between the doula and the medical communities. This is a CAPPA approved labor doula workshop, sponsored by Copley Hospital and supported by VT AWHONN on April 28-29, 2011 in Morrisville, Vermont, USA. Workshop will be taught by Crystal Sada and our guest lecturer is Polly Perez.

Crystal Sada brings with her the experience of having attended over 500 births as a labor doula as well as teaching childbirth education for 29 years. She has been a faculty member with CAPPA for over 10 years and travels around the US presenting labor doula workshops.

Polly (Paulina) Perez is a well known author and penned the original book about labor doulas titled Special Women. Her labor doula workshops are highly attended. For more than 40 years while working as a monitrice and perinatal nurse, Polly has helped to bridge understanding and acceptance between doulas and the medical community.
