Unfortunately for most childbearing year professionals, much of what we have newly discovered about breastfeeding has changed our answers to the most common questions asked. Register for this breakout session with the Director of CAPPA's Lactation Educator Programs and learn the most current, evidenced based answers to common breastfeeding questions. We will cover topics such as new research in skin to skin, the dangers of artificial milk, AAP and WHO guidelines on infant feeding, steps to successful breastfeeding, new breast anatomy, appropriate breastfeeding intervals, the truth about latch, storage capacity and the truth about lactose intolerance and omega fatty supplements. Attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion and 1 CAPPA CE.
